How excited can a girl get about Spring when she's let loose on her own garden for the first time? Flowers from seed, that's how excited! They don't look like much now, but give it about 8 weeks and these babies will be blooming for mama.

After much TLC from B & me, our hanging baskets are also starting to show some promise. The fern this baby frond is growing on looked completely dead to my eyes - B hacked every last dry, brown frond off and watered it like crazy and now it has little green fingers sprouting up everywhere.

B loves orchids and I've discovered that I do too. Check 'em out. What's not to love?

I've been off sick for a whole week with a seriously nasty cold/sinusy thing. Not the but I want to be spreading around patients with no immune systems. I feel bad for letting the team down but I'd feel worse if I gave it to a patient who then died. Yay for gorgeous local honey and fresh lemons (and serious painkillers and decongestants!)
